As Visual Designer, you'll own CodeRabbit's visual identity across all touchpoints: the website (coderabbit.ai), product launches, campaigns, motion, illustration, and physical experiences. Your work directly shapes how millions of developers perceive the brand's credibility and craft. You'll define the visual language, create memorable hero animations and launch visuals, and establish the typography, motion, and detail standards that make CodeRabbit unmistakably recognizable.
You'll work end-to-end from concept through shipped production, collaborating closely with engineers who translate your designs into code. The role spans multiple mediums—web, motion, 3D, illustration, and brand systems—and requires thinking systematically about reusable patterns rather than one-offs. You'll move fast while maintaining exceptional attention to detail, understanding that developers have finely tuned radars for generic or overhyped work.
You bring 5+ years of design experience with a strong portfolio anchored in shipped web work and spanning brand systems, digital, and physical mediums. You have meaningful hands-on range across motion, 3D, illustration, or environmental design. You understand the web as a medium—how layouts behave, what's buildable, and how design becomes code. Experience designing for developer or B2B audiences is valuable. You're AI-native in your practice, use modern tools like Figma, and thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments. Nice-to-haves include prototyping in HTML/CSS/JS, design system experience, or familiarity with developer tools and Git workflows.
