Salary: USD 70,000 - 105,000 / annual
NOCD is the leading telehealth provider specializing in evidence-based treatment for obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). This role is for a Virtual IOP (Intensive Outpatient Program) Therapist who will deliver high-acuity OCD treatment through a virtual platform, working with a multidisciplinary clinical team.
You will conduct virtual evaluations, provide individual and group therapy using evidence-based modalities (CBT, ERP, ACT, HRT, PE, motivational interviewing), and manage complex presentations including co-occurring conditions such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and body-focused repetitive behaviors. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, maintaining assigned caseloads, performing ongoing safety assessments and risk management, supporting member engagement and treatment adherence, coordinating with external providers and community agencies, and maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation and EHR records.
You will work 40 hours per week with 25 hours of direct clinical work, including individual sessions, group therapy, multi-family groups, and family therapy. The role requires strong clinical presence, clear directive interventions, excellent crisis-management skills, reliable boundaries, and the ability to adapt across time zones and work flexible shifts including evenings. You will collaborate cross-departmentally with clinical, operations, and leadership teams to maintain clinical excellence and support workflow efficiency.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Advanced expertise in ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention) and ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy)
- Strong training and demonstrated competency in CBT, ERP, ACT, HRT (Habit Reversal Training), and PE (Prolonged Exposure)
- State licensure as a therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LPC, or equivalent)
- Exceptional clinical judgment and crisis-management skills
- Experience treating complex presentations, ideally including PTSD and body-focused repetitive behaviors
- Ability to deliver structured individual and group therapy in a higher level of care setting
- Strong virtual care delivery skills with ability to work across time zones
- Excellent documentation and EHR proficiency
- Ability to work independently and as part of a virtual team
