Fuse is building fusion energy technology to accelerate the world's transition to clean energy. As Video Producer, you will own the full production pipeline for cinematic films showcasing Fuse's machines, people, tests, and technical work. This is high-craft cinematography and editing work in a real pulsed-power facility with challenging environments: high-voltage equipment, low-light labs, reflective metal surfaces, and industrial hardware that must look authentic on screen.
You will be responsible for the complete chain from concept through delivery: camera operation, lighting design, location audio recording, editing, color grading, and final delivery. Your work will span formats from 2–3 minute launch films and technical explainers to vertical social content. You'll develop scripts and shoot plans collaboratively with the creative team, work primarily as a one-person crew (bringing in additional support for larger productions), and maintain a searchable footage library to accelerate future projects.
The role requires exceptional technical skill across all production disciplines and the ability to independently manage projects from conception through finished film. You must have demonstrated experience shooting in difficult environments (low light, high contrast, reflective surfaces, industrial settings) and proficiency with modern tools including AI video-generation platforms and stock footage integration. Experience in industrial, laboratory, cleanroom, aerospace, or defense environments is preferred, as is motion graphics, 3D, or still photography capability.
This is an in-office role requiring relocation to San Leandro, CA if not already local. The position occasionally requires extended hours and weekends, and may involve travel to other Fuse facilities. ITAR compliance required: must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or eligible for required State Department authorizations.
