As Video Content Specialist, you will create compelling video content that tells stories for IT and AI leaders about Tines and its impact. You'll operate as part of a newsroom-style content team, combining journalistic instincts with production expertise to identify, develop, and execute video projects.
Key responsibilities include:
- Finding and developing stories by connecting with Tines builders, teammates, and subject-matter experts; identifying audience-relevant narratives and pitching video concepts
- Owning day-to-day video production: turning briefs into finished videos while coordinating schedules, shoots, contributors, feedback, and publication
- Shaping original video series by contributing format ideas and storytelling instincts to planning with Content Marketing and Brand teams, then executing repeatable production workflows
- Hands-on editing: combining interviews, screen recordings, graphics, and text to explain complex ideas; guiding contributors through filming; collaborating with freelance editors and agencies as needed
- Managing productions across in-house and agency-led projects, coordinating stakeholders, approvals, and deadlines
- Optimizing for channels: adapting videos for YouTube, LinkedIn, and paid placements; writing compelling titles; collaborating on thumbnail briefs; understanding what earns attention on each platform
- Learning from performance metrics (retention, watch time, engagement) to improve future videos
- Preparing and coaching builders, leaders, and external SMEs to feel confident sharing expertise on camera
- Capturing and repurposing video content from selected events
You can work hybrid or remotely within Ireland, with ad hoc travel to Dublin City Centre (approximately monthly) and the US (approximately quarterly) for project-related work.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years producing video content with portfolio examples demonstrating strong storytelling and technical execution
- Editorial initiative: curiosity, strong story instincts, and ability to proactively identify and pitch ideas that resonate with audience
- Project management experience: managing multiple video projects simultaneously, coordinating with freelancers/agencies, adapting to changing priorities
- Strong storytelling instincts: ability to develop stories with subject-matter experts in complex technical topics, then script and structure videos that make ideas clear and engaging
- Hands-on video editing skills: combining interviews, screen recordings, graphics, and text to explain complex ideas
- Platform knowledge: understanding of what works on YouTube and LinkedIn, from opening seconds through titles, thumbnails, and distribution
- Clear communication: ability to write briefs, give feedback, and help people feel at ease on camera
- Creative problem-solving with attention to detail
- Curiosity about technology and interest in using AI and automation to expand creative team capabilities
- Collaborative approach: thoughtful, practical teamwork; moving quickly while maintaining quality
- AI fluency: actively experimenting with AI tools to improve storytelling, accelerate production, and expand creative possibilities
