Salary: USD 200,000 - 280,000 / annual
Skyryse is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead manufacturing operations and supply chain management for its aviation safety technology company. The VP will oversee all aspects of production planning, scheduling, and capacity management while driving process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs. Key responsibilities include implementing lean manufacturing best practices, developing strategic sourcing strategies, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring compliance with aerospace regulatory requirements.
The role requires direct leadership of the production organization, building a culture of accountability and continuous learning. The VP will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely product delivery while meeting quality and cost targets, and will champion programs that improve employee safety and satisfaction.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in engineering or business administration, 10+ years of progressive leadership in manufacturing/operations/supply chain (with 5+ years at director level or above), and aerospace or automotive industry experience. Strong strategic planning, decision-making, communication, and team leadership skills are essential.
Preferred qualifications include an advanced degree (MBA or MS in engineering), Lean Six Sigma certification, experience in startup or high-growth environments, and hands-on ERP/MRP system experience.
