Salary: USD 215,000 - 245,000 / annual
Metropolis Technologies is seeking a Vice President of Operations to lead parking operations across a designated region. This executive-level role drives operational excellence, maximizes financial performance, and delivers exceptional customer experiences across multiple locations.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing regional strategies to drive growth, operational efficiency, and profitability; identifying new business opportunities and leading expansion initiatives; collaborating with executive leadership to align regional plans with corporate goals; defining and monitoring KPIs for continuous improvement; overseeing day-to-day operations of parking facilities with focus on performance, safety, and compliance; leading technology adoption to streamline operations and enhance customer experience; managing regional budgets including revenue forecasting, cost control, and margin optimization; ensuring regional financial targets are met or exceeded; leading and developing regional and operations managers; championing a customer-first mindset with rapid issue resolution and consistent service standards; ensuring full compliance with ADA, safety, and applicable regulations; building relationships with clients, community leaders, and local officials; and supporting sales and marketing efforts with local market insights.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations Management, Urban Planning, or related field; 10+ years of experience in multi-site operations, parking management, or facilities management with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role; proven ability to drive revenue growth, manage P&L, and lead large operational teams; deep understanding of parking industry regulations and operational metrics; excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills; ability to travel frequently within the assigned region; and experience leveraging AI tools to transform workflows. MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred. Familiarity with parking technology platforms and data-driven decision making is a plus.
