Palmetto is a leading clean energy company seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to own and lead all investor communication and engagement. This role serves as the primary bridge between Palmetto and its investors, capital partners, and the broader investment community, reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer and partnering closely with the Founder & CEO and Board of Directors.
Key responsibilities include managing all investor communication and reporting across equity and debt investors; owning Palmetto's investor strategy end-to-end; preparing investor and capital raise materials including pitch decks, presentations, FAQs, and leadership talking points; and developing investor-facing narrative, framing, and messaging. The VP will serve as the primary point of contact for investors and external market participants, attending investor conferences and representing the company in meetings and events.
Additional duties include developing and owning proactive relationships with sell-side analysts and relevant investment community members; partnering with the CEO and CFO to prepare for investor meetings, conferences, and capital raise processes; providing insights to leadership and the Board on investor sentiment, market perception, and peer activity; engaging cross-functionally with FP&A and Legal to ensure accuracy and consistency in investor materials; and supporting capital raises, financing events, and major corporate milestones.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Communications, or related field (advanced degree preferred); 10+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, Equity Research, or related field; demonstrated experience owning investor-facing messaging and senior-level communications; executive presence and credibility in high-stakes external conversations; and exceptional written and verbal communication skills with ability to distill complex information into clear narratives.
