The company is building the infrastructure layer of the AI era, with teams across London, Palo Alto, and New York.
As a UX Designer at Volta, you will shape how customers and internal teams experience the platform's dashboards, consoles, and workflows. You'll work closely with the product team to transform complex infrastructure systems into intuitive, user-friendly interfaces.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing user experiences for Volta's dashboards, consoles, and customer-facing platform interfaces
- Partnering with product management to translate customer needs into intuitive workflows
- Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs for new and existing platform features
- Conducting or contributing to user research to inform design decisions
- Building and maintaining design patterns and standards that scale across the platform
- Collaborating with engineering to ensure accurate and performant implementation
- Simplifying complex, technical workflows into clear, usable interfaces
- Iterating on designs based on user feedback and usage data post-launch
You should have experience as a UX or product designer, ideally on technical, developer-facing, or infrastructure products. A strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design process from research through high-fidelity execution is essential. You're comfortable designing for complex, data-dense, or technical workflows and have experience working closely with product managers and engineers in fast-paced environments. Proficiency in standard design tools like Figma is required, along with strong communication skills to explain design decisions clearly.
