Talkspace is seeking an experienced UX Designer to join its Product team and help deliver quality mental healthcare to over two million users. In this role, you will partner closely with Product Managers, Designers, and Engineering to design new features and funnels, as well as evolve existing customer-facing product lines across web, iOS, and Android platforms. You'll report into the Director of UX and bring thoughtful, user-centered thinking to projects ranging from focused feature work to end-to-end flows. Key responsibilities include designing end-to-end user experiences across all platforms—from early concept and user flows through wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready design files. You'll partner with Product Managers and Engineering to scope, design, and ship new features and improvements to existing product lines. You'll design and support conversion and growth experiments (e.g., onboarding, sign-up, checkout flows) as well as features that drive engagement, retention, and reduce churn. You'll create wireframes, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma while maintaining organized, up-to-date design files and documentation. You'll contribute to and help evolve Talkspace's design system, ensuring consistency and reusability across platforms. You'll support and help execute user research and usability testing, translating findings and data-driven insights into concrete design decisions. Additionally, you'll apply accessibility and platform-specific best practices (iOS, Android, Web) to ensure designs are intuitive, inclusive, and technically feasible. You'll incorporate motion, audio, and animation thoughtfully where they improve user experience, present design rationale clearly to cross-functional stakeholders, and collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Data/Analytics, and Brand teams. Required qualifications: 4+ years of experience as a UX Designer creating digital-first products (iOS, Android, and web), ideally in mass-market digital consumer products/apps, subscription-based, or e-commerce. Prior experience with digital healthcare/behavioral health is a plus. You should have experience designing a variety of project types including conversion and growth experiments, and consumer-focused features. You'll need solid understanding of iOS, Android, and Web standard UX/UI practices and strong proficiency in Figma (Sketch a plus). Experience supporting or executing user research and usability testing is required.
