Scopely, a leading mobile games company behind Pokémon GO and MONOPOLY GO!, is seeking a UX Designer to join the Pokémon Go team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis (3 days/week in-office). You will partner closely with engineers, product managers, and creative professionals in an agile environment to design intuitive, engaging player experiences. Your responsibilities include leading UX design efforts from concept through implementation for player-facing features, developing wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and interactive prototypes that clearly communicate design intent. You'll translate complex use cases into scalable, simple solutions while maintaining meticulous attention to detail. Key responsibilities: - Lead end-to-end UX design for one or more player-facing experiences - Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and detailed design documentation with clear interaction flows - Communicate designs effectively to team members, partners, and leadership through presentations and prototypes - Participate in brainstorming and conceptualization rituals - Improve and extend existing design system patterns - Incorporate user research and player insights into all design stages - Collaborate cross-functionally with reliable meeting attendance and participation Required qualifications: - 3+ years UX design experience with portfolio demonstrating mobile and responsive web projects - Proficiency in Figma and high-fidelity prototyping tools - Familiarity with mobile UX patterns in gaming, fitness, or activity-related apps - Ability to create implementation-ready mockups and flows for development handoff - Strong visual design skills (typography, layout, hierarchy, graphic design principles) - Experience using AI tools to support UX exploration and prototyping - Creative problem-solving and ability to develop novel UX patterns - Ability to thrive in fast-paced, hybrid environments with dynamic situations - Strong cross-functional communication skills (written and verbal, including asynchronous) - Fluent English required for global team collaboration Bonus: HTML/CSS knowledge, motion design or animation experience.
