Salary: USD 75,000 - 95,000 / annual
Sleeper is a sports social platform with 10M+ users globally, enabling friends to connect over sports through scores, games, chat, memes, and more. The Design and Research team is seeking a User Research Associate to drive insights that shape product decisions.
You'll own both quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, designing and executing studies to understand user behavior, validate product hypotheses, and inform feature development. You'll work with analytics dashboards and remote testing tools to gather data, analyze results using statistical rigor, and present findings to cross-functional teams (product, design, engineering).
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and conducting user research studies (surveys, interviews, usability tests, analytics)
- Analyzing quantitative data and applying statistical methods to validate insights
- Collaborating with product and design to identify research priorities and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Building and maintaining research documentation and insights repositories
- Contributing to a culture of user-centered design across the organization
