Nooks is an applied AI lab building an Agent Workspace for GTM—AI agents that automate the full sales action set from account strategy to prospect research and outreach. The company has raised $70M+ from top VCs including Kleiner Perkins, serves over 1,500 customers (Notion, HubSpot, Cursor, Rippling), and has tripled ARR annually for three consecutive years.
You will own end-to-end university recruiting strategy and execution, building Nooks into a destination employer for exceptional engineering talent. This is a builder role where you design the entire early-career hiring experience: identifying and cultivating relationships with 4–6 top computer science programs, developing employer branding through events, technical talks, hackathons, and sponsorships, and managing the full recruiting funnel from sourcing through onboarding.
Key responsibilities include developing a focused campus strategy across target universities, building long-term relationships with career centers and student organizations, designing and executing the annual new graduate recruiting program (targeting 8–10 hires annually), partnering with Engineering leadership on hiring goals and interview processes, creating memorable candidate experiences, planning campus visits and technical events, tracking recruiting metrics to improve conversion, and managing recruiting operations, budgets, and vendor relationships.
You'll work closely with Engineering and People Operations to scale internship and new graduate programs alongside company growth. Success means establishing Nooks as a recognized engineering employer on campus, consistently hiring top new graduate talent, building repeatable recruiting programs and partnerships, launching signature employer branding initiatives, and creating a recruiting experience candidates rave about.
The role requires 5+ years of recruiting experience with significant ownership of university or early-career hiring, proven success building or scaling campus recruiting programs at high-growth tech companies, strong understanding of engineering recruiting and technical hiring, experience with employer branding initiatives, exceptional relationship-building skills, strong project management, analytical mindset, and comfort working in ambiguity. You should be passionate about helping early-career talent launch their careers and care deeply about hiring quality over volume.
