As a UI/UX Designer, you will design and implement user experiences for enterprise solutions. You'll work to deeply understand the characteristics of target business domains and create structured designs that balance practicality with scalability. Working alongside engineers, researchers, and clients within the business development division, you'll lead UX research, design, prototyping, and design system development from product launch through growth phases.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading end-to-end UX research, UI design, and design system operations for Sakana AI's enterprise solutions
- Connecting user experience with business value through structured design
- Conducting user interviews, observational studies, and workshop design
- Implementing improvements based on qualitative and quantitative data
- Designing interfaces and prototypes using Figma and Claude Design
- Building and maintaining design systems
- Collaborating with product managers and engineers on specifications and design discussions
- Translating user behavior and business process understanding into design solutions
Required qualifications:
- 5+ years of UI design and UX design experience in web or enterprise applications
- Hands-on research experience including user interviews, task observation, and workshop facilitation
- Proficiency with Figma, Claude Design, and design system operations
- Experience collaborating with product managers and engineers on specifications
- Structural understanding of user behavior and business processes; ability to convert challenges into design solutions
- Business-level Japanese language ability (reading, writing, and discussion)
Nice-to-have qualifications:
- Design experience with AI/LLM-powered business support products or proof-of-concept projects
- UI design experience with complex use cases (SaaS, enterprise systems)
- 0-to-1 product launch experience or cross-product design implementation
- Product development leadership in agile/lean UX environments
