True Anomaly is building autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors to secure the space environment and counter threats. The company is seeking a UI Designer to join a growing creative team at an early and exciting moment.
This is a hands-on visual design role focused on drawing screens, building components, and extending the design system. You will work directly with the Creative Director and senior designers who will frame problems while you own the craft of the solution. Your artistic talent is front and center.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design screens, components, and layouts for desktop-focused software products that feed engineering teams
- Help establish what mission-critical space software should look and feel like—there is no legacy design system to follow
- Build interfaces that will be used by operators doing serious work and viewed at the highest levels of government and military
- Contribute to defining industry standards for how critical defense systems empower their users
- Take on more range and responsibility than a typical mid-level design role
This role offers the opportunity to do meaningful work with real impact. You'll be designing product interfaces for a mission-critical industry, not resizing banners or tidying templates. The company values creative problem-solving, challenging assumptions, and building a team where people care deeply about both craft and mission.
