Salary: USD 58,000 - 68,000 / annual

Turo is the world's largest car-sharing marketplace, connecting car owners with travelers across the US, UK, Canada, Australia, and France. As a Trust & Safety Investigator I, you will be a critical member of the investigations team, responsible for protecting the safety and security of the Turo community. You will independently manage and investigate assigned cases from start to finish, including fraudulent activity, missing vehicles, and other safety-related issues. Your responsibilities include: - Responding to and resolving risk-related cases escalated from customer support, claims, leadership, and law enforcement - Conducting detailed investigations and executing appropriate strategies for each case type - Leading interviews with suspects and victims - Developing deep understanding of risk signals, reviewing user accounts and transactions, and identifying fraud and high-risk activity - Communicating case developments, trends, and insights to the team and management to drive continuous improvement - Building and maintaining relationships with law enforcement, external partners, and investigators - Supporting the Turo community across multiple countries (US, Canada, UK, France, Australia) - Contributing to special projects and colleague initiatives This role is based in Phoenix, AZ and reports to the Investigations Supervisor. The position offers a 4-day workweek (Sunday–Wednesday) with in-office collaboration Monday–Wednesday. You will be expected to work in the office three days per week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday) as part of Turo's hybrid model. Requirements: - 2+ years of experience in Investigations, Trust & Safety, Loss Prevention, Fraud, or Risk Management - Superb judgment, communication, interpersonal, and investigative skills - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change - Strong ability to prioritize and manage multiple cases simultaneously - High responsiveness, availability, and commitment to follow-through - Ability to quickly adapt to new technology and systems - Experience with Kustomer, CRM systems, Google Docs, and MS Office preferred; Mac expertise a plus - BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience required - Must reside in the Phoenix area at time of accepting offer
