Salary: EUR 48,000 - 60,000 / annual
Vizzia has reimagined field operations management by separating planning, administration, and technical expertise into distinct roles. The Technical Team Lead focuses on field expertise, execution quality, and team development. Over 250 municipalities currently use Vizzia's platform for street safety and cleanliness, with plans to reach 450 by end of 2026.
You will report to the VP Operations and manage a team of field technicians, serving as Vizzia's technical reference for camera, bollard, and battery installation and maintenance projects on public infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Team Management: Lead daily technical operations, set individual objectives, monitor quality KPIs, oversee electrical certifications and safety compliance (CACES, PPE), and manage recruitment, onboarding, and skills development.
2. Technical Reference: Assess installation complexity during site visits with the Account Validation Validator, validate technical assumptions before quoting, conduct pre-project technical reviews, perform site surveys for complex installations, advise on equipment selection and installation constraints, and resolve field challenges (access, connections, structural issues).
3. Technical Deliverables & Site Acceptance: Supervise execution files, acceptance reports, and technical documentation produced with Operational Coordinators, verify field data accuracy (photos, GPS, equipment numbers), conduct post-installation inspections, track defect resolution, and support interpretation of technical specifications and public procurement documents.
4. Quality, Safety & Compliance: Develop intervention report evaluation criteria, produce audit reports and corrective action plans, ensure technical and regulatory compliance (NF C 15-100 / 17-200), control subcontractor quality (cabling, installation, specifications), and track material returns and warranty diagnostics.
5. Materials & Continuous Improvement: Oversee material receipt, testing, and packaging, manage field diagnostics and configuration (IP/4G connectivity, VMS, electrical cabling), and improve installation, maintenance, and support procedures.
Requirements:
- 5–10 years managing technical teams in field operations, low-voltage infrastructure (video surveillance, electronic security, telecom, energy, IoT)
- Proven experience leading and developing field teams (technicians, site supervisors)
- Installation experience on varied supports (street lights, masts, facades, public lighting cabinets, solar/battery autonomous sites)
- Strong electrical and IP connectivity fundamentals
- Daily VMS platform experience (Genetec, Milestone, or equivalent)
- Bac+2 to Bac+5 qualification in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, networks, or electrical engineering
- Experience producing, controlling, and defending execution files, acceptance reports, and technical documentation on public procurement projects through client sign-off
- Ability to read technical specifications and technical memoranda fluently
- Valid driver's license (Category B); CACES 3B and nacelle certification preferred
- Willingness to travel within France 5–10 times monthly
