iCapital is seeking an Analyst or Associate to join the Transactional Operations team, focusing on trade reconciliations for alternative investment funds. This role is central to supporting the firm's investor base and ensuring operational excellence across the investor lifecycle.
Key responsibilities include reviewing and analyzing daily trade reconciliation exceptions from third-party providers, investigating root causes of breaks, and determining resolution paths. You will partner with fund administrators, custodians, and external service providers to remediate discrepancies efficiently. The role requires escalating exceptions that pose client, financial, or operational risk to appropriate internal teams and monitoring aging breaks to ensure timely closure.
You will collaborate with the Technology team to automate and integrate reconciliation processes into the platform, and help define workflows, controls, and standard operating procedures. This is a hands-on role that bridges operations, technology, and client service.
Required qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a related field and 1–5 years of experience in financial services, ideally within fund administration, client services, or alternative investments. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication are essential. You should be comfortable multitasking, working independently and collaboratively, and proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel). Interest or knowledge in technology is a plus.
iCapital offers a competitive compensation package including salary ($60,000–$80,000), equity for all full-time employees, and annual performance bonuses. Benefits include an employer-matched retirement plan, subsidized healthcare (100% employer-paid dental and vision), telemedicine, virtual mental health counseling, parental leave, and unlimited PTO. The role is hybrid: in-office Monday–Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays.
