As a Transactional Monitoring Analyst, you will join the Compliance team to detect and investigate suspicious financial activity, supporting risk mitigation and regulatory compliance. Your responsibilities include monitoring transactions in real-time and retrospectively to identify unusual or high-risk patterns, conducting detailed analysis of transaction behaviors and system-generated alerts, and investigating cases with clear documentation and structured reasoning.
You will contribute to developing and improving risk matrices and monitoring parameters, prepare internal reports for management visibility and regulatory purposes, and support due diligence reviews and control assessments. Cross-functional collaboration is essential—you'll coordinate with Compliance, Legal, Risk, Operations, and Fraud teams to escalate and resolve complex cases while ensuring documentation meets internal standards and regulatory expectations. You'll also identify trends and propose process improvements to enhance monitoring effectiveness.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or related field, with 1–3 years of experience in transaction monitoring, AML, compliance, or risk management, preferably in fintech or financial services. You should be familiar with AML/CFT frameworks and regulatory standards, experienced with monitoring systems and case management tools, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced Excel or data analysis capabilities, advanced English proficiency, and knowledge of local and international AML regulations are required. Discretion with sensitive information and meticulous attention to detail are essential.
