The company serves fintechs, payment service providers, banks, and financial teams with real-time payments, automated treasury, and unified APIs. The Senior Accounting Analyst will own the timely and accurate recording of company transactions, support monthly close cycles, execute reconciliations, and drive continuous improvement and automation of accounting processes. This role requires technical accounting judgment, meticulous attention to detail, and a mindset of efficiency and process optimization. Key responsibilities include: recording transactions in the ERP with full integrity and proper coding; maintaining updated subsidiary ledgers and supporting documentation (invoices, receipts, notes); executing bank reconciliations and key account reconciliations (AR, AP, advances, accrued expenses, deferred revenue, taxes); identifying variances, performing root-cause analysis, and executing adjustments; supporting monthly close activities including accruals, provisions, amortizations, and variance analysis; preparing reports and workpapers for accounting coordination, audit, and internal stakeholders; managing tax compliance controls (withholdings, VAT, Colombian tax requirements); ensuring document traceability for internal/external audits; and participating in process automation initiatives using Excel advanced functions, Power Query, macros, RPA, or similar tools. The role requires coordination with Operations, Treasury, and Procurement teams to resolve issues, ensure documentation, and close process gaps. Candidates must have 5+ years of accounting experience (recording, reconciliations, close), proficiency with accounting ERPs (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, Siigo, World Office), and intermediate-to-advanced Excel skills. A degree in Public Accounting or related administrative field is required. Nice-to-have skills include automation experience, audit support background, and fintech sector knowledge.
