Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize American manufacturing, combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing to help aerospace and defense companies produce rockets, satellites, aircraft, and ships up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. The company recently raised $1.37B in Series D funding at a $7.87B valuation and is rapidly expanding its manufacturing footprint across welding, casting, forging, electronics, and additive manufacturing. The Workforce Development team is dedicated to cultivating the next generation of manufacturing talent through targeted training programs that accelerate factory maturity and operational effectiveness. As a Training Specialist, you will be the operational owner of training performance across a defined set of manufacturing stations. You will translate new and updated processes into effective, on-the-job learning experiences that drive consistent execution and measurable technician proficiency, with focus on velocity, quality, and team self-sufficiency. Key responsibilities include leading all training activities for assigned areas and delivering on-the-job instruction as the technical expert; working directly with technicians to understand process nuances, pain points, and improvement opportunities; mastering every process in your area and converting new methods into clear, teachable steps; training technicians and technician-trainers to ensure consistent execution across all shifts; adapting coaching approaches to individual learning styles; mentoring technician-trainers on best practices; owning the full evaluation process including quizzes, assessments, and progress reporting; creating and refining evaluation criteria covering hard and soft skills; partnering with process designers to define tasks using structured logic; maintaining version-controlled, audit-ready training content; ensuring returning technicians align with latest standards; conducting training audits for 100% procedural compliance; managing blended on-the-job and off-the-job training formats; and collaborating with Learning System Engineers on continuous improvement roadmaps. You should have 1+ years of experience in training, instructing, or teaching roles focused on entry-level individual contributors; at least 2 years in a production or inspection environment; proven ability to train people ranging from entry-level to mid-level; aptitude for rapid learning, reteaching, and influencing process adoption; and ability to independently recognize human patterns and provide actionable recommendations to leadership. Experience in operational training environments and the ability to influence others without direct authority are particularly valued. This is not a people management role, but success directly impacts team performance and factory operational effectiveness.
