Salary: USD 112,000 - 149,000 / annual
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities through advanced technology, including AI-powered operating systems, autonomy, computer vision, and sensor fusion. The Training Manager role bridges hands-on training delivery with program management and team coordination, playing a pivotal assistant team lead role in developing, executing, and continuously improving world-class technical training for Anduril products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and participate in delivery of technical training to end-users from military, government agency, and commercial backgrounds, including hands-on instruction at customer locations (potentially Hazard Zones) and Anduril test sites
- Assist in managing and orchestrating a team of trainers, coordinating their efforts and schedules for efficient and effective training delivery
- Support program management by contributing to planning, resourcing, and execution of company-wide training efforts that drive product adoption and align with business line goals
- Design, build, and continuously update training curricula across multiple platforms including presentations, hands-on practicals, computer-based training, and simulations
- Develop deep understanding of Anduril's hardware and software offerings, serving as a subject matter expert and explaining technical terminology to non-technical audiences
- Serve as a voice for customers, building bridges between end-users and Anduril to capture feedback, identify pain points, and inform product development
- Work across cross-functional teams including product development, engineering, design, and operations to capture product updates and support comprehensive end-user training
Required Qualifications:
- Strong background in planning, developing, and delivering training, with expertise in adult learning theories and instructional design for technical fields
- Proven experience managing, guiding, or coordinating training efforts, projects, or a small team of trainers, demonstrating ownership mentality and strong initiative
- Adaptive, creative communication style that fits various audiences, with proven ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical individuals
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional environments and influence others without direct hierarchical relationship
- Enthusiasm for transforming U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology
- Eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including to Hazard Zones
Preferred Qualifications:
- Prior military or government agency exposure/experience
- Expertise in Counter-Unmanned Aerial Systems (CUAS) principles and capabilities
- Experience with Air Defense technology including autonomous systems, advanced C2 systems, electronic warfare
- Experience with hands-on technical deployment, integration, configuration, and troubleshooting of hardware and software systems
- Formal education in engineering, international relations, or related field
