Dandy is transforming the dental industry through technology, building an operating system for dental practices globally. The Training Team Lead will supervise and develop a team of Trainers who deliver onboarding experiences to new customers. This role combines people leadership, operational optimization, and strategic impact.
Key responsibilities include leading and coaching Trainers through regular 1:1s, implementing quality assurance strategies to audit performance and drive continuous improvement, and fostering a collaborative team environment focused on customer success. You'll manage team schedules, identify operational bottlenecks, develop and maintain SOPs for consistency and scalability, and resolve tooling issues in systems like Salesforce and Zendesk by partnering with technical teams. The role also involves analyzing team and customer performance data to inform decision-making, executing training strategies aligned with company goals, and acting as an escalation point for complex customer issues.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of experience in fast-paced environments (startups, consulting, tech) and 2+ years of direct people management experience leading small teams. You should be a hands-on problem solver with a passion for customer success and operational efficiency, strong communication and collaboration skills, and comfort operating in ambiguous, high-velocity environments. A data-driven mindset and intellectual curiosity are essential. Familiarity with the dental industry, workforce management experience including scheduling and capacity planning, and the ability to foster a fun, engaging team culture are valued. The role includes up to 20% travel for in-practice learning and Trainer support.
