Salary: USD 65,000 - 110,000 / annual
Tempus is seeking a TIME Operations Manager to drive the execution and expansion of clinical trial operations across their precision medicine platform. In this role, you will manage day-to-day study execution from startup through closure, overseeing a portfolio of cancer clinical trials within the TIME network. You'll maintain and expand partnerships with pharmaceutical sponsors and CROs, ensuring quality deliverables and expeditious timelines while supporting customer satisfaction and business growth.
Key responsibilities include: managing clinical trial execution and site activation; collaborating with internal teams (site operations, medical affairs, pathology, bioinformatics, data science) to deliver key milestones; utilizing FDA regulations, GCP, and clinical trial development expertise to prepare trials for network deployment; identifying and resolving study risks with internal and external partners; and developing innovative processes, tools, and strategies to accelerate trial completion.
You will need a Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience in complex clinical trials from a site, sponsor, or CRO perspective. Required expertise includes FDA regulations, GCP compliance, study startup procedures, clinical trial agreements, budget management, IRB submissions, and pharma operations. The ideal candidate is a collaborative team player with exceptional customer service skills, strong problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, and proven ability to set and achieve high performance standards. You should be highly organized, systematic, flexible, and capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment. Occasional travel is required and will vary by project. Preferred qualifications include experience with rapid site activation, research networks, and clinical research project management.
