Kestra Medical is a medical device company founded in 2014 that combines wearable technologies with proven cardiac device therapies. The company helps patients and care teams monitor, manage, and protect life through innovative solutions.
As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for securing new business and managing a sales territory independently, working from the field and clinical settings across the Queens area. You will contact and consult with a variety of clients including cardiologists, electrophysiologists, and interventional cardiologists in hospitals and clinical settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Driving sales and ongoing support of Kestra cardiac products
- Meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual sales targets and performance-based objectives
- Growing and developing trusted partnerships with key accounts and stakeholders within the territory
- Preparing quarterly business plans and presenting to regional sales leadership
- Managing the complete sales cycle from introduction through product delivery
- Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships
- Coordinating patient interactions with clinical advisors and customer care teams
- Providing feedback and market intelligence to internal stakeholders
- Collaborating with sales and marketing leadership on market strategy implementation
- Managing customer pipeline and maintaining sales records
- Responding to client issues and complaints
- Attending key industry exhibits and conventions as required
- Ensuring responsible use of budgeted expenses
The role is fast-paced and field-based, requiring frequent domestic travel by car and/or air (up to 90%). You must reside in the assigned territory and be able to lift up to 40 pounds. Extended hours may be required based on business needs.
Post-offer, you must achieve credentialing for hospital system entry, including documentation of vaccination status, background check, drug screening, completion of required online courses (HIPAA, Bloodborne Pathogens, Electrical/Fire Safety), and agreement to hospital policies.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of successful medical device sales experience
- 3+ years of outside sales experience
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and professional experience)
- Must reside in the assigned territory
- Valid driver's license with acceptable motor vehicle report (MVR)
- Demonstrated strong business acumen
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with MS Office, including MS Teams
- Ability to obtain hospital credentialing
PREFERRED:
- Experience calling on cardiologists, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, or cath lab personnel (highly preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of durable medical equipment (DME) process flow
- Knowledge of cardiac care landscape and customer decision-making processes
- Internal candidates without required experience may be considered if they have demonstrated consistent sales performance and served in a sales support role
