As Territory Manager for the Northland region, you will drive business growth and ensure customer success within your designated territory. You will execute sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and meet ambitious growth targets while serving as Halter's on-the-ground representative. This is a hands-on role requiring both expansion focus and long-term customer satisfaction orientation. Key responsibilities include: - Prospecting and lead generation through proactive outreach, referrals, and industry events, managing the full sales pipeline from lead generation through contract close - Meeting high-growth sales targets by screening, qualifying, demonstrating the product, and negotiating contracts - Post-sale account management to ensure customer satisfaction, address challenges, and facilitate smooth onboarding and deployment - Territory ownership with deep relationship-building across the beef industry and regional agricultural groups - End-to-end customer onboarding and deployment support to maximize product value - Gathering and sharing field insights with Product, Support, and R&D teams to drive product improvements - Collaborating with Support teams to resolve customer issues quickly and ensure strong regional support You will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product, Support, and other regional sales teams. The role requires regular travel within your territory to engage with customers and prospects. Requirements: - Sales & Customer Success Expertise: Proven value-based sales experience with a strong track record of creating opportunities, closing deals, and building lasting customer relationships. Experience with post-sales value building and upselling to grow partnerships required. - Beef Industry Experience: Deep knowledge of beef operations and industry challenges. If not currently experienced, must demonstrate passionate commitment to rapidly learning farm operations. - Territory Management: Ability to use critical thinking to manage a large territory with balanced focus on sales and customer success, making appropriate trade-offs. - Problem Solving & Collaboration: Resourceful and quick-thinking approach to working with cross-functional teams to address challenges and drive solutions. - Attitude: Naturally driven to perform at high levels, making those around you better. Ability to thrive under pressure and own results. Authentic energy and passion in all interactions. - Willingness to Travel: Frequent travel within territory to engage with customers and prospects.
