Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) that develops AI-driven diagnostic solutions for coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a non-invasive, 3D color-coded model of coronary arteries to help clinicians assess blood flow blockages. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients globally.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region (West Palm Beach and Port St. Lucie, FL). This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways among key strategic hospital and health system accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFR_CT pathways
- Maintain and build relationships with referring physicians, cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical stakeholders
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and direct discussions with referring MDs
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams including Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical
- Organize and staff clinical programs including dinner events, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings
- Drive HeartFlow usage and adoption within assigned accounts by promoting the platform and building physician advocacy
- Achieve and exceed quota targets for strategic accounts, with performance measured on cCTA growth (conversion of non-invasive tests) and FFR_CT penetration/case growth
- Approximately 20-25% travel expected from home office
Requirements:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement
- Experience building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred
- Quick learner able to grasp and disseminate new clinical/technical information
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders (administrative, clinical, strategic)
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette
- Strong problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and work ethic
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
