Salary: USD 236,000 - 315,500 / annual

You will lead Hex's East Coast Commercial Sales Engineering team, managing both SMB and Mid-Market segments. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll shape and scale the technical sales strategy, build a high-performing collaborative team, and drive product alignment across the organization.
Key responsibilities include:
- Hiring, onboarding, and developing top-tier Sales Engineers through direct coaching, feedback, and mentorship
- Owning the technical win across new business and expansion deals within the Commercial segment, partnering with Sales leadership to exceed revenue targets
- Guiding and supporting the team through competitive deal cycles, navigating technical challenges, and executing technical evaluation motions (demos, POCs, hands-on workshops)
- Fostering a collaborative team culture grounded in trust and growth
- Partnering with Enablement, Post-Sales, Product/Engineering, and Product Marketing teams to ensure technical sales strategy aligns with product direction and market trends
- Owning systems, tools, and investments for team operational efficiency
- Leveraging data to track team performance, deal progression, and improvement areas

REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales teams, ideally in high-growth SaaS environments
- Successful track record as a Sales Engineer winning deals in high-velocity, competitive environments
- Passion for developing talent and creating an environment where people can do their best work
- Comfort jumping into deals when required, unblocking technical issues, and helping your team win
- Ability to work cross-functionally with feedback, enablement, and collaboration as core parts of your role
