Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven solutions for diagnosing and managing coronary artery disease. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a non-invasive, AI-powered cardiac test that generates a color-coded 3D model of coronary arteries to assess blood flow impact. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients worldwide.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region (Tampa, Clearwater, St. Petersburg, FL). This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology through a network of referring physicians and clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic HeartFlow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways
- Work with account stakeholders including cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and hospital administrators
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, Clinical) to deploy leadership resources, organize physician education programs, VIP visits, CT pathway roadshows, and referring physician office meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders to increase HeartFlow usage within assigned accounts
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and clinical discussions
- Champion HeartFlow and build physician advocacy
- Meet or exceed quota for strategic accounts and drive cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration metrics
- Approximately 20-25% travel from a home office
Requirements:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years related sales or clinical experience
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement
- Account development experience; experience building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred
- Clinical/technical proficiency; quick learner able to grasp and disseminate new clinical/technical information
- Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders across administrative, clinical, and strategic roles
- Cross-functional collaboration skills to coordinate field and HQ resources
- Customer-focused mentality with strong problem-solving ability under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
