Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease using AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac testing. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides 3D models of coronary arteries to help clinicians assess blood flow impact and identify stenoses. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been used for over 750,000 patients worldwide.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a specific geographic region (Tallahassee and Gainesville, FL). This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology through networks of referring physicians, cardiologists, primary care physicians, and nurse practitioners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic HeartFlow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, Clinical) to deploy leadership resources, organize physician education programs, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and discussions
- Champion HeartFlow and build physician advocacy
- Meet or exceed quota for strategic accounts and drive cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration metrics
- Expect approximately 20-25% travel from a home office
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement
- Clinical/technical proficiency; ability to quickly learn and disseminate new clinical/technical information
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders (administrators, cardiologists, referring physicians, hospital marketing)
- Cross-functional collaboration experience
- Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals
- Excellent problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and professional etiquette
- Self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology
