Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) advancing the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease using AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac testing. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a 3D color-coded model of coronary arteries to help clinicians assess blood flow impact and identify stenoses. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been used for over 750,000 patients worldwide.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a specific geographic region, driving adoption of the company's cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathway. This is a customer-facing role requiring approximately 20-25% travel from a home office.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing business development plans with key strategic accounts to drive growth and adoption
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with internal leadership, marketing, market access, product development, and clinical teams
- Building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians, cardiologists, primary care physicians, and nurse practitioners
- Educating customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and discussions
- Organizing and staffing clinical programs, dinner events, VIP visits, and CT pathway road-shows
- Meeting or exceeding quota for strategic accounts and driving cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration metrics
The role requires strong sales skills, account development experience, and the ability to quickly learn and communicate clinical and technical information. Candidates should have excellent relationship-building abilities, cross-functional collaboration skills, and a customer-focused mentality. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems is required.
Requirements:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
