Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is seeking a Territory Account Manager to serve as the primary customer-facing representative for a designated geographic region. This role focuses on driving adoption and growth of HeartFlow's AI-driven, non-invasive cardiac diagnostic technology (FFR_CT Analysis and related products) within key strategic hospital and health system accounts.
You will work directly with cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and maximize utilization of HeartFlow's cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways. The position involves approximately 20-25% travel from a home office in Raleigh.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans for assigned strategic accounts, working closely with key stakeholders including hospital administrators, clinical leadership, and referring physician networks
- Drive adoption of the cCTA and FFR_CT pathway by building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians and clinical decision-makers
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations, discussions, and clinical education programs
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, Clinical) to deploy resources, organize physician education events, VIP visits, and CT pathway roadshows
- Promote HeartFlow as a clinical champion within assigned accounts
- Meet or exceed quota targets for strategic accounts, with performance measured by cCTA growth (conversion of non-invasive tests) and FFR_CT penetration/case growth over baseline
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Proven track record of sales achievement
- Clinical/technical proficiency with ability to quickly grasp and disseminate new clinical and technical information
- Strong relationship-building skills across diverse stakeholder groups (administrative, clinical, physician practices)
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette
- Self-motivated with strong problem-solving ability and work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software
- Experience building and supporting strong clinical programs
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospital systems
