Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven solutions for the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, is a non-invasive cardiac test that provides 3D visualization of coronary arteries and blood flow impact, supported by ACC/AHA guidelines. The product has been cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been used for over 750,000 patients worldwide.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region (Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, or Modesto, CA). This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's cardiovascular diagnostic technology through networks of referring physicians and clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, Clinical) to support account success
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical stakeholders
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and direct discussions
- Organize and staff clinical programs including dinner events, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings
- Drive HeartFlow usage and adoption within assigned accounts, measured by quota achievement, cCTA conversion growth, and FFR_CT case penetration
- Approximately 20-25% travel expected from home office
Requirements:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Proven sales track record and achievement
- Experience building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred
- Quick learner able to grasp and disseminate clinical/technical information
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders (administrative, clinical, strategic)
- Cross-functional collaboration and project management abilities
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, problem-solving ability, strong work ethic
- Customer-focused mentality and ability to work effectively with diverse technical and clinical backgrounds
