Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) that develops AI-driven diagnostic solutions for coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a non-invasive cardiac test that generates a color-coded 3D model of coronary arteries to assess blood flow impact. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been used for over 750,000 patients globally.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region (Fargo, ND and Sioux Falls, SD). This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways through relationships with cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and other clinical stakeholders. The TAM will spend approximately 20–25% time traveling to customer sites.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing business development plans with key strategic accounts to drive growth and adoption
- Facilitating cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, Clinical) to organize and staff programs such as dinner events, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings
- Building and maintaining relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders
- Educating customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and discussions
- Promoting HeartFlow and building physician advocacy
- Meeting or exceeding quota for strategic accounts and driving cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration metrics
The role requires proven sales achievement, account development experience, and the ability to quickly learn and communicate clinical and technical information. Candidates should have strong relationship-building skills, cross-functional collaboration ability, customer focus, and excellent communication skills. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is required.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR Associate's degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radiopharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
