Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) that develops AI-driven diagnostic solutions for coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a non-invasive cardiac test that generates a color-coded 3D model of coronary arteries to assess blood flow impact. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients globally.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region (Fairfax, VA / Washington DC area). This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology through a network of referring physicians and clinical stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic HeartFlow accounts to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across the organization, coordinating with Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical teams
- Organize and staff clinical programs including dinner events, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians, cardiologists, primary care physicians, nurse practitioners, and other key clinical stakeholders
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and clinical discussions
- Champion HeartFlow adoption and build physician advocacy within assigned accounts
- Meet or exceed quota for strategic accounts and drive cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration metrics
- Approximately 20-25% travel expected from home office
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Proven sales track record and achievement
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Strong clinical/technical proficiency with ability to quickly grasp and disseminate new clinical and technical information
- Experience building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
- Proficiency with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette
- Strong problem-solving ability, self-motivation, and work ethic
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional team environments with diverse technical and clinical backgrounds
