Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven solutions for coronary artery disease diagnosis and management. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, is a non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tool that provides 3D visualization of coronary arteries and blood flow assessment. It is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients worldwide.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within the Cleveland and Akron geographic region. This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways among key strategic hospital and health system accounts. The TAM will spend approximately 20–25% time traveling to customer sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic accounts, working closely with account stakeholders to drive growth and adoption of HeartFlow's diagnostic pathway.
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across HeartFlow's organization, coordinating with Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical teams.
- Organize and staff customer engagement programs including dinner events, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings.
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders within assigned accounts.
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and clinical discussions.
- Champion HeartFlow adoption and build physician advocacy.
- Meet or exceed quota for strategic accounts, driving cCTA growth (conversion of non-invasive tests) and FFR_CT penetration and case growth over baseline.
Required Qualifications:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience.
- Proven sales track record and achievement.
- Clinical/technical proficiency; ability to quickly learn and disseminate new clinical and technical information to customers.
- Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders (administrators, cardiologists, referring physicians, hospital marketing, strategic personnel).
- Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals.
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, professional etiquette, and customer-focused mentality.
- Self-motivated, strong problem-solving ability, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work in cross-functional team environments.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field.
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software.
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology.
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals.
