Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) that develops AI-driven diagnostic solutions for coronary artery disease, the leading cause of death worldwide. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, provides a non-invasive, AI-powered cardiac test that generates a color-coded 3D model of coronary arteries to assess blood flow impact. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients globally.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region, driving adoption of the company's non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostic technology. This is a customer-facing role requiring approximately 20–25% travel from a home office in North Austin.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic HeartFlow accounts, focusing on cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathway adoption
• Drive growth and usage within designated accounts by maintaining and building relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders
• Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and discussions with referring MDs
• Facilitate cross-functional collaboration with internal teams (Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, Clinical) to deploy leadership resources, organize physician engagement programs, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings
• Champion HeartFlow and build physician advocacy
• Meet or exceed quota for strategic accounts and drive cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration/case growth over baseline
Required Skills & Experience:
• Proven sales track record and achievement
• 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
• Quick learner able to grasp and disseminate new clinical/technical information
• Strong relationship-building skills with diverse stakeholders (administrators, cardiologists, referring physicians, hospital marketing, strategic personnel)
• Cross-functional collaboration and project management capability
• Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals
• Excellent problem-solving, communication (verbal and written), and professional etiquette
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic
• Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
Preferred Qualifications:
• Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field
• Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software
• Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals
• Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology
