Salary: USD 125,000 - 200,000 / annual
HeartFlow is a publicly traded medical technology company (HTFL) pioneering AI-driven diagnostic solutions for coronary artery disease. The company's flagship product, HeartFlow FFR_CT Analysis, is a non-invasive cardiac test that provides 3D visualization of coronary arteries and blood flow assessment. The product is cleared for use in the US, UK, Europe, Japan, and Canada, and has been deployed for over 750,000 patients worldwide.
The Territory Account Manager (TAM) will serve as HeartFlow's primary representative within a designated geographic region (Albany, NY and Poughkeepsie, NY). This is a customer-facing role focused on driving adoption of HeartFlow's cardiovascular diagnostic technology through strategic account management and physician engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute business development plans with key strategic HeartFlow accounts, working closely with account stakeholders to drive growth and adoption of cCTA and FFR_CT clinical pathways
- Facilitate cross-functional collaboration across the organization, coordinating with Territory Sales Manager, Marketing, Market Access, CT Apps, Product Development, and Clinical teams
- Organize and staff clinical programs including dinner events, VIP visits, CT pathway road-shows, and referring physician office meetings
- Build and maintain relationships with referring physicians and clinical stakeholders to increase HeartFlow usage within assigned accounts
- Educate customers on HeartFlow's value proposition through presentations and discussions with referring MDs
- Champion HeartFlow and build physician advocacy
- Meet or exceed quota for strategic accounts and drive cCTA growth and FFR_CT penetration metrics
- Approximately 20-25% travel expected from home office
Requirements:
- 4-year degree with 5+ years of related sales or clinical experience, OR 2-year degree with 7+ years of related sales or clinical experience
- Degree in Science, Medical, Business, Marketing, or Technical field preferred
- Proven sales skills and track record of sales achievement
- Account development experience; experience building and supporting strong clinical programs preferred
- Clinical/technical proficiency; quick learner able to grasp and disseminate new clinical/technical information
- Ability to develop relationships with key account stakeholders (administrators, cardiologists, referring physicians, hospital marketing, strategic personnel)
- Cross-functional coordination skills to support focused customers and execute program development plans
- Customer-focused mentality with strong problem-solving ability under pressure
- Ability to explain medical technologies to healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of cardiac patient pathways and diagnostic technology preferred
- Self-motivated with ability to initiate, organize, and complete projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional etiquette
- Experience with Salesforce.com or similar CRM
- Prior experience in medical device, cardiology pharmaceuticals, cardiology radio-pharmaceuticals, hospital, or medical software highly desired
- Experience introducing new cardiovascular technologies into hospitals highly desired
