Lovable is a software creation platform that enables people to build software without requiring extensive capital, technical fluency, or time. The company has grown to over 60 million projects since launch in November 2024 and is recognized as one of Europe's fastest-growing AI companies (TIME 100 Most Influential, Forbes AI 50, CNBC Disruptor 50). You'll be the second technical writer, joining a small, talent-dense team based in Stockholm with growing offices in London, Boston, New York, and San Francisco. In this role, documentation is treated as part of the product itself, not a help center. Millions of people learn to build software from Lovable's docs, and AI agents also read and learn from them. The Lovable agent suggests documentation pages, coding tools read them, and assistants answer questions based on them. You'll have your own product areas from day one and a seat at every launch, helping to define what documentation should be when readers include both humans and AI agents, and the product changes daily. You'll drive documentation proactively rather than waiting for direction. Features ship daily with larger launches several times monthly. You'll own the full lifecycle: discovering what's shipping, writing pages, verifying them in Lovable, shipping them, and maintaining accuracy as the product evolves. You'll use data on what users can't find, what the assistant couldn't answer, and what support hears to prioritize what to write next. Your initial focus areas include: Enterprise documentation (identity and access, governance, audit, data residency for security teams), the developer surface (API and MCP references), owning documentation for your first product launch, and building automation to replace manual checks. You'll write for three audiences on a single page: non-technical builders, developers, and AI agents. While AI drafts many pages, your human judgment determines what a feature needs, what engineers didn't mention, and the checks that keep hundreds of pages accurate. You'll also improve the product itself by identifying confusing labels or broken steps during documentation and getting them fixed before launch. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years documenting software products, with demonstrated ability to write pages that get readers to outcomes without re-reading - Experience writing with AI for research, drafting, and checking (not just polish), with understanding of AI limitations - Hands-on testing of features you document; preference for trying features and reading source code over taking others' word - Proficiency with docs-as-code: Git, Markdown, and pull requests - Ability to ask engineers and PMs specific questions and raise early concerns when documentation reveals product usability issues - Preferred: experience shipping docs weekly at startups or scale-ups; writing for AI readers or curiosity about it; UX writing or content design experience; ability to read code well enough to verify feature behavior (writing code not required)
