As a Technical Sourcing Recruiter, you will be the front end of Skylo's recruiting process, responsible for identifying and engaging technical talent across specialized disciplines. You will partner closely with the recruiting lead and technical hiring managers to understand hiring priorities, develop focused sourcing strategies, and build strong candidate pipelines. Key responsibilities include: - Partnering with recruiting leadership and hiring managers to define candidate profiles, distinguish essential skills from preferences, and calibrate searches early - Building pipelines across technical disciplines such as software engineering, cloud infrastructure, embedded systems, wireless communications, and network engineering - Identifying and engaging passive candidates through LinkedIn, technical communities, referrals, targeted research, and creative sourcing channels - Writing personalized outreach that connects candidates' experience and interests to opportunities at Skylo - Conducting initial screens to understand candidates' relevant experience, motivations, career goals, and practical requirements - Delivering clear candidate summaries and thoughtful handoffs to the recruiting lead, maintaining engagement as candidates progress - Mapping relevant companies and talent markets to help the team refine requirements and prioritize searches - Tracking pipeline health, outreach response rates, and conversion to qualified interviews, using results to improve your approach - Maintaining accurate candidate records and building relationships with talent for both immediate and future opportunities - Broadening reach through sourcing strategies that bring candidates with varied backgrounds into consideration You will work directly with technical leaders, take meaningful ownership of challenging searches, and see the impact of your work as the team grows. Success means building a clear understanding of Skylo's technical hiring needs, becoming a trusted partner to recruiting leadership and hiring managers, consistently producing relevant and engaged candidates, and providing market insights that help the team make better hiring decisions. REQUIREMENTS: - Experience sourcing or recruiting technical talent, with demonstrated success engaging passive candidates for specialized or hard-to-fill roles - Ability to understand technical requirements and evaluate relevant experience beyond job titles and keyword matches - Strong research skills, including Boolean search, talent mapping, and finding candidates beyond standard recruiting databases - Clear, compelling writing and confidence to lead credible conversations with technical candidates - Good judgment about candidate fit and ability to explain recommendations with specific evidence - Strong organization and follow-through across multiple searches and shifting priorities - Collaborative working style, openness to feedback, and initiative to keep searches moving independently - Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and sourcing tools, along with careful handling of candidate information NICE TO HAVE: - Experience recruiting in telecommunications, satellite communications, semiconductors, IoT, or related technical fields - Experience supporting a startup or small recruiting team - Experience sourcing across international talent markets - Familiarity with embedded software, cellular networks, wireless protocols, or cloud and network infrastructure
