Perplexity AI is seeking a Technical Sourcer to build and optimize talent pipelines for engineering and technical roles across the company. This is a hands-on sourcing role where you'll research, identify, and engage talent across multiple disciplines and experience levels using a mix of advanced research, talent mapping, referrals, AI-assisted automation, and creative outreach.
You'll work closely with recruiters and hiring teams to understand technical requirements deeply and calibrate candidate profiles with precision. The role demands someone with exceptional technical literacy—comfortable navigating complex technical conversations, parsing nuanced skill sets, and understanding software and AI architecture. You'll track pipeline data, analyze sourcing effectiveness, and continuously optimize your approaches.
This is not a one-size-fits-all role. For some positions you might run SOBOs (source-on-behalf-of); for others you'll dive deep into published papers from top conferences to find the right talent. You'll operate with agility, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and hard-to-fill roles.
