Legl is building an operating system for modern legal services, helping law firms and regulated businesses replace manual workflows with intelligent software covering client onboarding, compliance, payments, risk, and reporting. The company is backed by leading European VCs, operates across the UK and Australia with 600+ law firm clients including 50 of the UK's top 200, and is entering a new growth phase.
As Technical Solutions Engineer, you will operate at the intersection of product, engineering, and customer delivery. Your responsibilities include:
**Core Responsibilities:**
- Own the technical workstream during customer launches: scope integrations at kick-off, coordinate with customer IT and third parties, configure and deploy solutions, and verify functionality before and after go-live
- Manage Legl's growing catalogue of PMS and DMS integrations (Clio, Actionstep, NetDocuments, iManage, and others) to ensure they land in every customer launch and across the existing base
- Activate and monitor the installed base of 600+ clients, identifying opportunities to add value through integrated capabilities
- Serve as technical counterpart to implementation partners: set technical plans, review configurations pre-go-live, and act as quality gate on partner-delivered work
- Productize deployments by working closely with the integration engineering team to make each launch faster, slicker, and less manual
- Support commercial teams by joining prospect and customer calls as the technical voice, running discovery with customer developers, and helping scope integration requirements
**What Makes You a Good Fit:**
- Equally comfortable building relationships with developer teams and diving into technical details (data syncs, APIs) as presenting to stakeholders
- Obsessive about understanding customer goals, timelines, and problems
- Comfortable owning the customer-facing side of technical deployments and collaborating across Sales, Customer Success, Support, Engineering, and Partners
- Understand when to engage directly, when to productize, and when to push back on requirements
- Thrive in the complexity of technical delivery intersecting with commercial customer problems in legaltech operations
- Adaptable to new tooling, platforms, and ways of working across a broad tech stack
- Proactive with customers; comfortable with ambiguity and continuous learning
**Not a Good Fit If:**
- You prefer developing in isolation rather than engaging with customer teams
- You lack familiarity with APIs and integration patterns
- You dislike ambiguity or expect clear, unchanging requirements
- You believe "if you build it, they will come" rather than driving proactive customer engagement
- You struggle to adapt to new tools and platforms or prefer stable, infrequent shipping cycles
**Requirements:**
The posting does not explicitly state years of experience or formal education requirements. However, the role assumes familiarity with APIs, integration patterns, and technical deployment workflows. Experience with legal software, PMS/DMS systems, or SaaS integrations is likely valuable but not stated as mandatory.
