Salary: USD 65,000 - 84,500 / annual
OneStream is seeking a Consultant to support customer implementations of OneStream's Corporate Performance Management (CPM) and Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) software. This role is integral to helping customers accelerate ROI and maximize the effectiveness of their business performance management solutions, with a primary focus on financial reporting applications.
As a Consultant, you will work independently and with minimal supervision on implementation projects, collaborating with customer resources and cross-functional consultant teams. You will be responsible for hands-on technical work including building extensible cubes and metadata, creating data sources and transformation rules, designing forms and journal templates, and establishing workflows. You will write cube views, report books, dashboards, and custom workspace dashboards. You will also write basic and conditional business rules, migrate OneStream application and system artifacts, and produce comprehensive project documentation including design frameworks, end-user training materials, test scripts, and validation templates.
Beyond technical delivery, you will conduct customer training sessions, act as an onboarding mentor to new consultants, present knowledge-sharing sessions, and communicate effectively with both project teams and customer senior management. You will participate in regional, North America, and global practice calls, respond to inquiries from OneStream employees, and compile weekly status reports.
The ideal candidate possesses strong financial acumen and understands the work performed by financial analysts, controllers, finance directors, and CFOs. You will need hands-on experience with OneStream or similar CPM/EPM platforms, a track record of successful implementations, and core product training knowledge.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Information Systems, Mathematics, CIS, or equivalent work experience
- 2–5 years of CPM/EPM implementation experience
- Demonstrated experience with MS Office and data modeling skills
- Knowledge of financial accounting processes
- Strong technical skills/background as it relates to product implementation
- Experience with databases (Oracle, Essbase, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Professional accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA, CA) or advanced degrees (MBA, MFA)
- Experience with VB.net, Visual Basic, or object-oriented programming
- Prior experience with OneStream or other CPM/EPM platforms including Oracle (HFM, Hyperion Planning, FCCS, Essbase, FDM/FDMEE), SAP (Group Reporting, SAP Analytics Cloud Planning, SAP BPC, OutlookSoft BPC), IBM (Cognos Analytics, Cognos Controller, Planning Analytics/TM1), or similar solutions (Anaplan, Workday Adaptive Planning, CCH Tagetik, Board, Workiva, Pigment, BlackLine, Planful, Vena Solutions, Prophix)
