Fabric Health is a healthcare technology platform that uses intelligent automation to improve clinical capacity and care delivery efficiency. The company partners with leading health systems including Intermountain Health, OSF HealthCare, and MUSC Health, backed by investors like Thrive Capital, GV (Google Ventures), and General Catalyst.
As Technical Solutions Engineer, you will be the primary technical authority for clients building custom virtual care experiences on Fabric's API platform. This role uniquely combines high-touch architectural consulting with hands-on software engineering, sitting at the intersection of product, integration, and client engineering teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning the complete technical relationship with API clients from architecture design through production support, serving as their primary technical resource without requiring core R&D involvement
- Attending regular client calls to guide architecture design, API implementation, and testing; translating complex requirements for both technical engineers and non-technical stakeholders
- Shipping minor API enhancements and configuration changes to unlock high-value client use cases while protecting the core product roadmap
- Building and maintaining client-facing SDKs, code samples, and API documentation to enable self-service onboarding
- Partnering with Solutions Design to translate client requirements into sound technical approaches
- Independently debugging client integration issues, triaging whether fixes belong in product engineering, API layer, or configuration
- Communicating API changes and rollouts to active client teams to prevent integration breaks
You are a client-facing engineer who actually codes and finds client problem-solving satisfying. You translate fluently between technical architecture conversations and executive summaries. You own outcomes, treating escalation as a last resort. You view documentation and code samples as force multipliers. You are comfortable with ambiguity in client requirements and thrive at the intersection of product and customer success. You participate in regular scheduled client meetings and real-time debugging sessions. You do not require deep healthcare domain expertise but understand API integration patterns deeply.
