Salary: USD 117,400 - 176,000 / annual

The Technical Revenue Accounting Lead will serve as the company's subject-matter expert on ASC 606 and technical revenue accounting, reporting to the Revenue Accounting Manager. This is a hands-on, highly collaborative role that partners closely with Finance, Sales, Deal Desk, Legal, and Product teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing technical accounting guidance on non-standard revenue transactions, including partnership agreements and complex subscription/usage-based deal structures
- Evaluating revenue accounting implications of new products, pricing models, and go-to-market strategies
- Developing, documenting, and maintaining revenue recognition policies, position papers, and accounting playbooks
- Supporting month-end close processes and coordinating with external auditors
- Implementing and optimizing revenue systems and automation for accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
- Designing and maintaining internal controls over revenue to support audit and future SOX readiness
- Assisting with ad hoc financial reporting requests
Required qualifications:
- 3-5 years of revenue accounting experience; CPA required
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience in public accounting and at a high-growth technology company with emphasis in technical accounting
- Deep knowledge of ASC 606 and demonstrated experience applying guidance to non-standard contracts, including ASC 340-40
- Demonstrated ability to write clear technical accounting memos, research guidance, state positions, and defend conclusions
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally with Sales, Legal, Deal Desk, and Product in fast-moving environments
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with Netsuite and Netsuite ARM or similar systems
