d-Matrix is seeking a Staff Technical Recruiter to lead full-cycle recruiting for hardware and software engineering roles across the company. This is a hybrid position based in Santa Clara, CA, requiring 3 days per week onsite.
You will own the complete recruiting lifecycle from intake through close, managing candidate pipelines and building relationships with hiring managers and candidates. Key responsibilities include developing and refining sourcing strategies for hard-to-find deep-tech talent, leveraging AI-powered sourcing and screening tools, and driving adoption of these tools across the recruiting team. You will act as a strategic partner to hiring managers rather than an order-taker, bringing structure to ambiguous searches and operating autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Additionally, you will maintain clean ATS data, build reporting dashboards that provide leadership with real-time, data-driven pipeline visibility, and demonstrate expert fluency with applicant tracking systems and custom reporting.
The ideal candidate brings 8+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, including proven success closing senior and staff-level candidates. You should have experience recruiting across multiple technical verticals and disciplines, not specializing in a single area. Strong ATS expertise and the ability to build custom reporting and dashboards are essential. You must operate autonomously in startup environments, communicate effectively, and build trust with both hiring managers and candidates.
