Skild AI is building general-purpose robotic intelligence that is robust and adapts to unseen scenarios. The company uses data-driven machine learning to enable widespread robot deployment across society.
You will own full-cycle recruiting for technical and engineering roles based in India, working independently as part of the recruiting team headquartered in California. This is a high-ownership role building the hiring function in-region from the ground up.
Key responsibilities include:
- Own full-cycle recruiting for technical, engineering, and hardware/robotics roles in India, from sourcing through offer close
- Partner with India-based and global hiring managers to define role scope, calibrate candidate bar, and build sourcing strategy
- Build and manage strong candidate pipelines through direct sourcing, referrals, and market mapping specific to Indian tech and robotics talent
- Drive excellent candidate experience end-to-end, including timely communication and structured interview coordination across time zones
- Maintain accurate pipeline data and reporting in Greenhouse ATS
- Partner with the San Mateo talent team on compensation benchmarking, offer structuring, and closing strategy for India-based hires
- Provide market intelligence on Indian tech/robotics hiring trends, compensation norms, and competitor talent moves
You should have 4-5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with a strong track record closing technical talent. A technical background or demonstrated fluency recruiting for engineering, robotics, hardware, or deep tech roles is preferred. Experience recruiting in the Indian tech ecosystem with an existing network of engineering/robotics talent is valuable. You'll work independently and asynchronously as part of a distributed, US-managed team, with strong command of Greenhouse or comparable ATS platforms and excellent English communication skills.
