REGENT is building Seagliders—wing-in-ground-effect craft that travel just above water at 180 mph with 180-mile range on current battery technology (up to 400 miles with next-gen batteries). The company is scaling from prototype to full production and seeking a Technical Recruiter to build world-class talent across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and leadership.
In this role, you will own full-cycle recruiting across a wide range of technical and non-technical functions. You'll partner closely with hiring managers to define hiring strategies and shape teams. Key responsibilities include:
- Partner with hiring managers to define success criteria, develop hiring strategies, and build teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, and business functions
- Own end-to-end recruiting for critical roles spanning technical specialists, manufacturing talent, business professionals, and leadership positions
- Build proactive talent pipelines through creative sourcing, referrals, networking, events, and relationship-building
- Guide candidates through the hiring process with thoughtful communication and an experience that reflects company values
- Use data, market insights, and candidate feedback to refine search strategies and improve hiring decisions
- Continuously improve recruiting processes by experimenting with new tools, strengthening employer brand, and raising candidate experience standards
You'll work in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment where recruiting challenges vary significantly—one week sourcing aerospace engineers, the next manufacturing technicians or software leaders. The role requires balancing data-driven decisions with relationship-building, influencing hiring outcomes without direct authority, and helping shape recruiting function as the company scales.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Demonstrated experience recruiting end-to-end at a startup, growth-stage company, or similarly dynamic organization
- Exceptional ability to find, engage, and build relationships with hard-to-reach talent using creativity and persistence
- Comfort navigating change, ambiguity, and shifting priorities in fast-moving environments
- Strong communication skills and ability to build trust quickly with hiring managers, candidates, and teammates
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with ownership mentality and sense of urgency
- Genuine care for people and understanding that every hire impacts team dynamics and culture
- Willingness to shape and improve recruiting processes, not just maintain them
- Preference for Rhode Island-based candidates or those willing to relocate; will consider exceptional remote candidates able to travel regularly to headquarters, recruiting events, and career fairs
