Webflow, an agentic web marketing platform for modern marketing teams, is seeking a People Generalist to serve as the operational backbone for the Engineering, Product, & Design (EPD) organization. In this role, you will be the day-to-day HR support for the EPD team, partnering with managers and employees on lifecycle events, fielding questions, and running programs that keep the organization healthy and functioning. You'll work closely with the Senior Manager, People Business Partner and cross-functional People Team partners to ensure nothing falls through the cracks. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the first line of support for EPD managers and employees, fielding day-to-day HR questions and coaching managers on in-the-moment issues, resolving independently before escalating - Participate in employee lifecycle events (onboarding, transfers, resignations, offboarding) and administer related programs such as engagement surveys; guide employees through leave-of-absence processes - Support investigations and performance documentation while maintaining accuracy, consistency, and confidentiality - Run and communicate business programs end-to-end, including performance review cycles (mid-year and annual), compensation update processes, and L&D initiatives - Navigate a matrixed EPD structure, managing multiple stakeholder relationships simultaneously amid shifting priorities - Use AI tools and automation to streamline lifecycle administration, program execution, and recurring reporting - Partner closely with your manager to surface patterns and signals from your caseload while staying aligned with broader organizational context You'll thrive in this role if you default to solving before escalating, enjoy variety and pace over depth, get satisfaction from operational excellence, and are comfortable being the "how do we get this done" person. You should be fluent with AI tools, look for opportunities to automate recurring tasks, and are comfortable operating in a highly matrixed, fast-changing organization. Strong working relationships across multiple People Team functions and the ability to see your manager as a thought partner are essential. Requirements: - 3-5+ years of HR generalist or HR business partner-adjacent experience, ideally supporting technical or product teams - Strong process discipline—you're the person who makes sure things don't drop - Experience fielding a high volume of manager and employee questions with independent judgment
