Favorited is building a digital community platform that goes beyond content consumption—enabling creators to connect, engage, and play with their audiences through gamification and deeper interaction. The company operates with an intense, high-standards culture focused on rapid growth and real-time feedback. As Technical Project Manager, you'll drive execution across engineering, product, and cross-functional teams, with a particular focus on mobile application development (iOS and Android). This is a hands-on role sitting at the intersection of technical understanding and operational excellence. You'll own end-to-end project planning, execution, and delivery for complex technical initiatives while ensuring teams stay aligned, priorities remain clear, and momentum is sustained. Key responsibilities include: owning project scope, timelines, and deliverables in partnership with engineering and product; driving mobile app development efforts; enforcing organization and delivery discipline; tracking progress and proactively identifying risks and blockers; facilitating cross-functional alignment; running agile rituals (standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, reviews); managing workflows via Linear, Jira, or similar tools; translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders; and continuously improving PM processes and team efficiency. You'll act as a force multiplier for engineering teams by removing friction and enabling focus. The ideal candidate brings 4–8+ years of technical or program management experience with a strong track record of shipping and driving outcomes. You need hands-on experience with native mobile development (iOS/Android), deep understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies, and proficiency with project management tools. You should be able to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously, communicate clearly about priorities and risks, operate with urgency in a startup environment, and demonstrate high ownership and attention to detail. Fluency with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) to automate and augment workflows is expected. Standout qualities include experience with consumer-facing, real-time, or live service products; strong familiarity with mobile development workflows and release cycles; an operational mindset focused on improving execution and velocity; the ability to balance speed and structure; and experience working closely with high-performing engineering teams.
