Echodyne is seeking a Technical Project Coordinator to support hardware and software product development programs for high-performance commercial radar solutions. The company develops compact solid-state beam-steering radar for autonomous vehicles, uncrewed aircraft, drones, and critical infrastructure security using patented metamaterials technology.
In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional product development teams by managing project schedules, Bill of Materials (BOM) configuration, procurement activities, and project deliverables. You will work closely with Program Managers, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain teams to ensure efficient project execution and smooth transitions from development through manufacturing.
Key responsibilities include: supporting program managers with project planning and scheduling; coordinating cross-functional meetings and documenting action items; maintaining project schedules and milestones using project management tools; managing BOM creation, maintenance, and change management; coordinating procurement for prototype and production materials; tracking long-lead components and material readiness; resolving material shortages and supplier issues; monitoring project status and preparing reports and dashboards; and supporting continuous improvement of project management processes.
Required qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Project Management, or related field (or equivalent work experience); 2–4 years of project coordination, project administration, or related experience; strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail; excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment; experience coordinating projects and BOM management; understanding of product configuration management; proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Desired experience includes: supporting engineering or technical product development teams; familiarity with project management tools (Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Smartsheet); PLM systems (Arena, Propel, Windchill, Agile PLM); ERP systems (NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics); ECO/ECN processes and product release workflows; prototype builds and New Product Introduction (NPI); and knowledge of electronic and mechanical component procurement.
